In General
A very shy member of the skink family, this lizard is most commonly found beneath rocks, leaf litter or logs. If disturbed they will immediately seek shelter.
Often mistaken for snakes as their movement is simialr, they are indeed lizards and are completely harmless. |

Diet
Insects (Inverterbrates).
Habitat
Eucalypt forest and woodland, with a preference for wet conditions, with ample shelter, eg leaf litter and logs.
Breeding
This skink is an egg layer. Clutch sizes range from 3 to 11 eggs and hatching generally occurs in late summer.
