The Moreton Bay Marine Park lies on Redland's doorstep. It comprises many islands, the likes of Lamb, Macleay, Coochiemudlo as well as the famous North Stradbroke island. The area is an important wildlife refuge with its seagrass areas, coral reefs, mangroves and sandy beaches.

The area is managed by the Queensland Government through the Environmental Protection Agency, EPA.

If you are enjoying the Bay, please consider our marine wildlife. Adhere to boating, fishing and camping regulations. Take all rubbish with you. Slow down, particularly in seagrass areas, too many turtles and dugongs are needlessly killed or injured by boats and watercraft strikes.
